This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I like the Slingbox, never used the Sony, though we have reviews of both. You should keep in mind that both may violate the terms of your cable/satellite usage. I don't know what the implications are, but some day they might get shut down. In the end I think the sling provides better value and more flexibility.

    I second the slingbox as I have one myself, great interface and the ability to watch home programs is worth the entry cost.
