    Hey all,
Been using a logitech MX300 for the last 6 years (!!!) and its finally dying on me. I remember when I bought it and liked it, I thought about buying a few extra--totally should have done that.

ANYWAY--need your guidance. I play a fair amount of first person shooters, so I'm drawn to these various gaming mice.. however, I definitely like smaller mice (see mx300 picture). I'm worried that a mouse like the logitech MX518 is too big. any experience with that? anyone currently using a very reliable / minimalistic mouse?

I have mx518 & it's the best mouse i use so far. Yes! it's bit big but not a serious problem if you have average size hand . Tracking responsiveness is great + you can adjust DPI on the fly (Nice Feature for FPS gamer)

The Logitec G9 is very small if you use the packaged speed-shell instead of the default wide grip satin shell.

Other fairly small gaming mice I've used include the Razer Diamondback and Lachesis.

couple questions about the razer mice. I tried my friend's razer mouse literally ~5 years ago. I remember the mouse buttons being incredibly sensitive (like if your finger was resting on the key, it would press it). are they still like that? also, do razers have "clicks" as you scroll up and down w/ the scroll wheel (like logitech mice?)

about the 518: this might be a stupid question, but I can't seem to find out whether the scroll wheel is also a button (like pressing down = mouse3)--is it?

I think the G9 is a bit out of my price range.. looking to spend maybe 40 max.

does anyone literally use a 3-4 button mouse+scroll wheel?

    thx for the help.

    small? corded? gaming?
look at the OCZ Equalizer mouse for mobile (there are 2 versions, one for desktops and one for laptops, which is only smaller)
or the equivalent from the brand A4Tech

btw, you may wanna go down to your local best buy or circuit city and see what mouses they have there, my best buy has several gaming mouses on display including a MX518 on display. i never buy a mouse with out actually feelling it first.
