I ordered a 60 day pre-paid card for WoW from amazon.com, and the box was in english but the card inside was european!

how the hell does that even happen, i mean WTF man.

 

call blizzard and tell them that

 

i emailed them already, and i e-mailed the people i got it from, they wanted pictures, i sent them and no response.

 

Heh, playing computer games. I remember when i did that, a short time ago. Now i've seen the pixels, and use game consoles for gaming. If they ported WoW to Ps3, or even better the Wii, or even the (uhg) 360 i'd buy it then, because it'd have a dedicated graphics card just for processing, and graphics. Not Firefox, and then some Wii sports. As fot he problem at hand i'd wait, they're a busy big corp. Might take like a week. After that complain like hell. Don't really see why it's such a big difference. It's just the card language.

 

I play consoles too, and don't even bring up the PS3 here. But WoW is fun.

I take it you didn't buy it from Amazon.com, but rather, from an independent seller using Amazon's store front? If you did get it straight from Amazon.com, I'd just order a new one and send the old one back for a refund. I've found their service to be good.

 

mabye it was your guardian angels doing trying to protect you from the evils of WoW... take it as a sign

 

What server are you on? For the Alliance? For the Horde? =)

 

i play on shadowmoon as alliance, but i don't mind playing as horde elsewhere, escpecially since ive never played as horde.

now here is what there saying to me

Since the card has been scratched, we are not able to accept the return or refund your item since we are not able to have it returned ourselves now. We are sorry that you ahve received the wrong language, as this is the first time we are hearing of us receiving European cards, but our suppliers will not let us return it due to the card being scratched.

now blizzard said i could ship it to them and they would add the time to my account. But my dilema is that shipping it to blizzard would actually cost me around the same as another card (note where i live<<<).

 

Definitely should lvl a horde char up even if you don't raid with it. It's the best way to find out all the weaknesses of the enemy It's surely much easier exploring Orgrimmar as an orc than trying to sneak around inside with a gnome

 

Well, i contacted amazon, there giving me 5$ for shipping and giving back the 28$ to my credit card
