Some nice technical features - the strap details, nice internals, plenty of room for up to a slightly large 15-inch in the laptop compartment (and even a compact-ish 17-inch like the Macbook Pro and the 8740w in the main compartment), pleasingly retro look IMO.

Just an FYI if anyone's looking for a retro-styled bag.

(And yes, Vogelbung likes a <$100 bag. Be amazed )

I love STM, but this bag just isn't my taste.

 

I can imagine it isn't for some. The retro look can be very cheap looking if not done well. I think the stm straddles that line on the 'good' side, but I wasn't interested in a plain flapover, I didn't want a 'trad' look, and I wanted something slightly different.

And maybe because it's that I'm a child of the 60's & 70's when a vinyl TWA / Pan Am bag meant you had partaken in the glamour and excitement of commercial jet flight
