    hey all

i recently bought a Targus bluetooth mini-mouse (AMB01US), and i must say that it has been working excellently. i read a lot of reviews that complained that the pairing sucks, and that it's a nightmare to have to pair it every single time, on reboot, waking from sleep, etc. but maybe it's that vista handles it much better, but my mouse stays well paired, and after wake up or reboot, all i have to do is click both mouse buttons (left and right) at the same time, and it instantly starts working. i havent used it long enough to say how the battery life is.

however, since i'm using the mouse as a HID-compliant mouse, i dont have any special driver or mouse suite i could use to program buttons and stuff. why microsoft's generic mouse drivers STILL dont have that option, i have no idea. virtually all mice nowadays are scrollwheel mice.

i checked the targus website for drivers, but their "drivers" for my AMB01US is simply WIDCOMM's bluetooth driver/software. and a very very outdated one at that. i already have widcomm's up-to-date bluetooth drivers on my lappy.

so how can get my mouse buttons programmed? and i'd like to set separate motion speed preferences, different ones from my touchpad.

    thanks so much
