due to my poor and attention lacking nature in writing online i am not going to give a comprehensive review of the cooler pad that is half-forgotten by the ever-upgrading market.

this model differs from the others because unlike T1k, t2k, t3k and t4k, this model sucks air out of the cooler instead of sucking the air in.

computer i use is in my sig, figure tested was under my macbook pro, feb08 version.

i have invisible shield on it so the dissipation might suffer a little compare to naked brushed aluminum.

    without cooler: 70-72C
    with cooler: 56-58C

note: throughout the time BT is on capped at 50k/sec
program opened: itune(playing lecture notes), keynote, amsn, google chat

verdict: it works, nicely, and wouldn't suffer from dusting your bottom.

Those are some great looking numbers, have you compare it to other cooler?

I wonder if the cooler will conflict with the notebook's fan, you know, for directing air in opposite direction.

i have another cooler that is almost geniue as anything you see with a no-name brand that is aluminum chassis, 3 small fans sucking air from bottom.
that fan cools better to around 54 or sometimes 50; but it was under different enviornment so i didn't bother to make a comparison impression.

however, problem is that if i had a notebook that has vents at the bottom dust will gather up and sooner or later it is a hazard to clean up. if in the case of macbook pro there will be dust of the shape of the fan on the bottom.

you can feel the cool breeze near the area of the cooler's fan

one more advantage i can think of is that like macbook pro, there is only vents at the back.

durability can be debating as i keep hearing frictions between the top and bottom part of the cooler as i move in and out of my palm typing; but i guess the invisible shield hold on too tight with the top plate to cause the excessive noise. the cooler is quiet enough but there is no way to measure it.

added note: the notebook was spinning at 2k rpm fixed w/ or w/out cooler
