Would like to find a tradition laptop case with shoulder pad. Budget is $50 (includes shipping + tax). It needs to be big enough to fit a 15" T60 and it needs to arrive at my home by next Friday, 28th. Is there any other website you would recommend besides newegg? (just want to consider other options)

Check out Targus on Amazon.com. Great selection at reasonable prices.

    Consider the Samsonite L45.

    All-

Thanks for the suggestions. I'd like to share my experience with you by reviewing the case that I ended up buying:

    I ended up buying "SUMDEX Black 15.4" Impulse Tech-Town Notebrief-Black Model PON-431BK - Retail" from newegg.com:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834998266

The funny thing about it is that the item is in "deactivated" status after I've bought it. I was planning on giving it a review but I couldn't due to its deactivated status.

I think it's a good bang for the buck if you're not willing to spend more than $30. My 15" T60 fits in it perfectly. The handle is padded by foam so it's comfortable. There are a lot of extra slots and space available for office supplies, and it also comes with a pencil/pen bag.

The big disadvantage, in my opinion, is the shoulder pad. It's hard. I wish it was as comfortable as the handle. Because of that, I wouldn't recommend this bag if you're traveling a lot, or even from building to building on campus.

Another disadvantage is that the sleeve does not have enough pad to protect the laptop.

Overall I wouldn't buy this bag again. It's too late for me to make the change now because my wife is leaving for China within a day. She seems to love the extra features offered in her case though. I guess Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

If you know a particular case that would fit a 15" T60 (4:3) nicely, with a comfy shoulder pad and good protections for the laptop, please share it with me/others.

I'll check out Samsonite L45's reviews.

    Thanks,

    Gene

Samsonite L45 looks good. I'll keep that in mind next time.
