    hope this it he right forum, seems tof it best here :D

    with a tv tuner and media center (i think thats it) is it possible to watch a show while recording another?
    also is it possible to watch a show, have it do the live record thing so you can pause/fastforward/rewind etc AND switch channels. for example, your watching the simpsons, commercial comes on, you switch to the news for a couple of minutes, go back tot he simpsons, and you missed a good minute of the show, so you just press rewind and go back?

    I have an Aver TV tuner card and can not record and change the channel at the same time. I can pause without recording for a period of time you can also schedule recordings like a VCR. Not sure how my DVR box works but it would almost seem like you need two tuners to change channel and still record one.

    BTW I like to pause for a while and just FF through the commericals.
