    usb drive not working urgent help please

    Okay I had my jump drive pluged into my laptop then my laptop droped and he casing of jump drive broke off the drive, so i took out the drive and put the case back on but now it doesn't work, i took off the case and it still doesn't work, please how do i get it to work i have some very important files on the jump drive. :(

    ps: the light that turns on when it is pluged in still turns on.

    Flash Drives are usually very resilient against physical damage. Try a different computer. If it still can't read anything, then there's a good chance the drive is broken for good.
