    hi, just got a sony usb flash drive but wanna be sure of somethin before i open it. I'm goin t college and got a macbok pro. it has office on it with word, etc. so if i save a file on word on the flashdrive, and try to open it on a windows computer with word, will it work, and vice versa? thanks

    Assuming that the Mac you use the key on has Microsoft Word installed on it, or a comparable program that can read .doc/.docx files.

    I believe the program name for MS Word in Mac is something different. As far as image files, pdf files, these should be naturally cross-OS compatable.

    word docs on Mac OSes will work on XP based office programs. Ive done it plenty of times where I save a doc in Mac Office and then go to my XP computer and it will recognize it immedieately. If not, see if you can save under a different file name.
