    nop some are not recognized...especially generic USB 1.1 hubs

    give us an example of one that doesn't work. It's more likely the hardware that doesn't recognize it than Vista.

    When i connect the hub & i insert my iPod USB cable & external HD..
    Both don't power up & few seconds later it says 'Windows can't indentify this device'

    I am going to buy USB 2.0 ..will test that one
