    I've been searching newegg.com for USB keyboards to hook up to my laptop, but am having a though time reaching a decision. I need a simple design, preferably black, and under $30-40. Thanks in advance.

    Xoxide has a lot of gaming keyboards that are really nice, and quite a few are black. I'd check out the Saitek Eclipse, it's a really nice keyboard, and can be had for ~$40 shipped if you shop around.
