    hi there,

    i am looking for a notebook cooler; for couple of reasons my choice is limited to these two models:

    Cooler Master Notepal R9-NBC-ADAK - http://tinyurl.com/gnwp5
    Jetart NP5000 - http://tinyurl.com/eumpu

    even though Jetart's cooler has a built-in 4-port USB hub and it is much lighter i think i'll go for Cooler Master's Notepal as it seems to be much more sturdy and it's powered directly from notebook (no hassle with yet another power adapter).

    i went through Notepal's specification and i came to one conclusion - i won't be able to use its spare USB port to connect any kind of devices that consume power from usb; in that scenario laptop's USB port that Notepal will be connected to would have to power Notepal's fans (5 volts) and the other connected device which may lead to overload that particular usb port;

    i guess it goes with every usb-powered cooler; is my conclusion correct?

    greetings
