    I curently have an MX1000 that I have been putting in my bag to use with my lappy. Is it worth it to spend $50 for the v270 so I have a dedicated Laptop mouse?

    If your MX1000 fits well in your laptop bag, there is no reason to buy a dedicated laptop mouse.
