What should i use to output video with the laptop in my sig, s-video or vga? I will be using my brothers 56in 720p tv, so i would like to get the best pic possible. It's a shame dell didnt decide to go with hdmi or dvi, but what can you do.

Without any doubt you should choose VGA. The picture will be far more clear and you can really bump the resolution higher.
