    my xbox 360 has components cables and no hdmi port. Is there a way i can hook up the 360 to the laptop

    No, unless you buy a TV tuner with composite cables.

    The NP2090 does not have an HDMI port anyways.

    Laptop video ports are for output only, you cannot input a video signal to them.
