What are your feelings on getting the accidental spill/drop warranty? Is it worth it or just a waste?

    For laptops or for accessories?

I'm assuming laptops, so, it depends on who it is. If it is a responsible adult, well, they should know what they are doing, and will care for it.

If its for a teenager, a child, or a clumsy person, it's no contest :)

Also, depends on how much it costs.

You can take out a rider on your homeowners insurance which will cover things like theft as well as accidents. It is generally cheaper than buying a warranty.

Great idea. I'll have to look into that. (However, I own my home in Germany and will need to check with the German company I got my inssurance through.)
