The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Dear friends:
    Looking for a webcam I found two that seems to be very likely.
    1. WebCam Live! Ultra
    2. Webcam Live! Ultra for Notebooks
    both available at Buy.com, at almost same price and specs.
    Does anyone have some experience with some of them?
    I'm looking for to use with Skype.

    I'm interested in this question too. No experience with either but I think the notebook version doesn't move, ie it is fixed so placement on top of the screen is important.
