    what battery to buy for my laptop 1545 inspiron dell?

    Hi, my current battery on my dell 1545 inspiron doesnt hold charge at all so i was in need of a new replacement battery and wanted advice on what battery to get as i dont know if some would be compatible the specs for my current battery are the following; RECHARGEABLE LI-ION BATTERY TYPE; GW240, RATING;14.8v and the capicity is 28wh, ive also seen 11.1v powered batteries on ebay that are producing more mah so i would be greatful if someone can help me out and to advice me what would be the best cheeers :D

    The first thing i would do is contact Dell to see if they still have the part somehow, OEM batteries are a safe bet compared to some of the cheap stuff you can find on eBay.

    I agree, plus the cheaper batteries start loosing their holding capacity a lot sooner than OEM.
