    anyone know if there's something better than creative x-fi for notebook? must be express type, no USB plz. :)

    I don't think there are any other expresscard soundcards =(.

    will i able to use onboard speakers while I have the card inserted? Because I couldn't do that back to the day with creative audigy.

    I don't think so either.

    I've heard of Turtle Beach and Azalia having sound cards--mostly for desktops and USB, but I'm pretty sure Creative is top dog right now.

    I have no idea, but if you give me to August 5 I might be able to make a review of sorts. I recently ordered the X-Fi expresscard from Amazon. It's shipping now.

    btw I forgot to mention, I have both Audigy 2 ZS (unusable on my 5793) and Xmod (not good enough for me) already.
