hi,
just wondering, i've heard the m15x speakers are not so good when turned up full volume so was wondering what would be the best external speakers at a reasonable price to use. it should be quite portable as i travel alot. any ideas?...also when anyone plugs there m15x into the power socket, does anyone use like power surge protecting adaptors?...im going to india over the summer and power surges are like a hourly occurrence!
any ideas?...
thanks,
Arji

i dont have a power surge pad so i just plugged it into an outlet. when there is a thunder storm outside i will unplug the m15x.
for speakers i bought the logitech audiohub. it doesnt take up alot of space like other 2.1 speakers and they have decent reviews. these are notebook speakers but they will need an ac outlet to plug into, so the portability might be a slight issue. They also plug into a usb port but in return the hub that is built in comes with 3 usb ports. From the huge amount of reviews i read the audio quality isnt too bad either. these are suppose to sell for around 70 bucks but i got them for 20.
This is the review from notebookreview.com

If you are interested in these speakers go to http://www.buy.com/prod/logitech-audiohub-notebook-speakers/q/loc/111/205129935.html
i know it says $40.20 so when you go into your cart go to google checkout to get $10 off and then it becomes $30.20. ($10 for shipping). This is probably going to be the best deal for notebook speakers that you will find. If you are wondering if these are refurbished, these speakers are new.
i will get these on wednesday so ill tell you how they sound. -
go for edifier speakers
what speakers to get?
