Hello.
I would suggest you check out the offerings at Newegg.com and read the reviews to see which one appeals to you. Stick with good brands like OCZ, Corsair, Kingston, Corsair, Sandisk etc that have good warranties so that even if it fails you can get it replaced by the company.
One thing to remember. The larger the flash drive, the slower it will be, in general, and vice versa for smaller drives. For example a 8GB OCZ flash drive won't be as fast in read and write speeds as a 4GB one, but you do get double the space. So you need to balance your size requirement with speed.
Other things you might want to keep an eye on is: Does it have an LED activity light, what is the material(rubber, metal etc), is it slim enough to not block neighboring USB ports.... -
i, personally, use the sandisk 8GB cruzer titanium. very good drive. comes with U3 software if u want to use that. the USB adapter can be retracted for reduced size and adapter protection. it also has a redish/orange LED pulse when activated.

amazon has the sandisk cruzer - regular edition, not the titanium - for $29.99 for the 8 gig model. that's the price as it is today. last week, i ordered 2 of these from amazon for $24.99 :-D
they're nice and reliable and fast as hell. i just copied 5 gigs of stuff in close to 13-15minutes.
these new cruzers i bought are my 2nd and 3rd. i have a 1gb model that i've had for over 2 years and taht thing has been bullet proof. never a problem with it. -
go with whatever is cheaper. usb drives aren't supposed to look flashy and they won't break very often on their own. So get a nice looking cheap one and keep it safe.

check out slickdeals.net. they have lots of specials on USB drives all the time.
