My Sennheiser earphones. Couldn't live without them. And my Lacie mobile external HD, because that thing holds all my files. It's a shame I cannot say the same for my USB powered lava lamp.

My wireless internet modem. I just picked up a Novatel EX720 from Sprint about two weeks ago, and I couln't be happier with it. No more searching out places like coffee shops with free wireless networks or paying $10 for a "day" of service at an airport when I'm only going to be there for an hour. I've already used it while on a road trip last weekend to check Google Maps, and I can now use my lappy at work on breaks or when I go out to lunch. This modem is even more reliable than my wired network at home. If I'm plugged in at home and the Cox cable modem kicks me off (which happens at least once a day), rather than get up and reset the modem YET AGAIN, I just pop the wireless modem into the card slot and fire it up.

Service is $60 a month, which is a big bite on top of my home phone, cable, and cell phone bills, but I'm going to be moving soon and I may not even have home phone or cable service turned on considering how little I currently use either one. Basic cable gets me most of the channels that I watch, and pretty much all of the great cable shows like The Sopranos and Penn & Teller come out on DVD at the end of each season anyway.

Next would be my Motorola HT820 bluetooth headphones, and then my car cigarette lighter charger, and a small transmitter that plays whatever is on my hard drive through my car speakers. Give me all of that, a 1GB jump drive, a $10 pair of earbuds for when I forget to charge the headphones, some spare blank CDs for copying/burning, and a bag to plop it all into, and I'm completely mobile.

I currently have a wireless modem too, but I'm going to lose it in a few weeks. :( its just to much money for me. Costs me 70 a month, but it is very nice to have.

I guess you got hit hard by the headfi curse

For me it would be a pair of headphones mostlikely IEMs or earbuds, a mouse (in some cases when there is room to use it) and last but not least a flash drive or something for data transfer.

For comic relief:My laptop bag I would be lost... lets rephrase that SCREWED without it

Yeah, man... Just shave off the lip and chin pubes, and you'd be a dead ringer. Heh. Anybody else hear the next trilogy coming on strong?

Is it merely bittersweet irony that you have a Mac logo for your avatar, and yet, carry a Zune around with you? Or did you do that on purpose?

:) No, I truly do love Apple products. After considering the Asus G1S vs. MBP debate, I am heavily leaning towards a MBP for my next NB. I've played around with my friend's Macbook and think OSX is pretty sweet. I'll never give up the MS OSes, though, so my intent is to get Parallels and dual boot.
