Try looking up for reviews on these products and see which ones suit your needs better.

I've been using CH Products joysticks for the past 15 years. I like.

There's also Fanatec for wheels and Thrustmaster for flight sticks. Do some research.

I'll vouch for Thrustmaster. Their flight stick/throttle systems got me through my flight sim days of the 90's. :)

thrustmaster is expensive ^^ i have an old wingman but its kinda messed up. it won't auto center anymore so it leans to the left....very annoying. Was my fault though. It slide/tilted or whatever in a box and kept pressure on it top the left so now it stays that way :/

    EDIT what is CH products?

They only make consumer, professional, and military flight sim hardware. Their consumer products are not flashy at all though. I know they sell them on newegg.

wow when you say not flashy you mean that...i also haven't seen a joy stick that has a mechanic of up and down and a left and right traverse in ages.....

    Newegg.com - CH Products 200-568 Combatstick 568 Joystick

see the movement mechanics? thats old school lol

Always wanted a flight simulator "set-up", however looking at those prices makes me rethink that "want" :p

The only "need" for me is a joystick. A mouse or keypad is just far too difficult to control, since neither are self-centering. I'm looking to get some pedals though, I'll see after the new Il-2 game comes out.

you can get a decent stick for under 60 bucks that will do the job...a stick pedal and throttle is nice but not necessary....i just like having all of them because it makes it more realistic/fun
