I'm looking for an external keyboard for my laptop. preferably, it should be connected via USB, have a full layout (with numpad), be durable, and include an extra USB port or two. Oh and backlighting woud be sweet :D

    any recommendations?

EDIT: price range is around 50$.

The Saitek Eclipse II is pretty kickass with a nice price: $50ish. No usb ports tho.

Note: The color can be changed from red, blue or purple.

The Razer Lycosa is pretty hot too.

Look at firefly's borealis keyboard. It's exactly $50 dollars on eBay.

yeah, i think that's because they're only 1.1 USB ports. still, good enough for charging an ipod, no?
