I'm not sure about the effect of wifi on the vx, however, you can get it for a lot cheaper if you look elsewhere (for example, it is only 33 from amazon). You shouldn't any more than that for it - in fact you can find it for 30 at a few places. Check the Hot Deals forums at fatwallet.com for more deals.

yeah.. i live in canada, and those the only place i can get (futureshop, bestbuys bit expensive 93$ CND, i checked at canadacomputers.com, not bad 60$ with tax compared with ncix)

now.. about the wifi.. can someone answer it?

i read that the mouse runs at 2.4ghz, while (I THINK) the wireless runs at the same speeds. or some sort.

When I was home last weekend I didn't notice an issue. If there is an issue, I suspect it may be a case of it only affecting a few, as if it had a blanket adverse effect, I wouldn't have bought it ;)

imho I would consider getting a different (cheaper) mouse. Sure the super-scroll is nifty on long web pages and documents, but apart from that, it is the same as every other 5 button mouse out there (plus zoom and search buttons). Also, as I said in the other thread, I prefer the middle click on my Razer DeathAdder. Much smoother and easier. That is one aspect that they could improve for the VX

Both me and a friend of mine use the vx while wifi is in use, no problems what so ever. I have been using it for 4 months+ now with wifi and I have never had any disruption.

I think it depends on how much data is being transmitted thru wifi. I have the logitech mx610 and suffer no jumpiness when using wifi unless I am downloading at high speeds. Whenever I am downloading at highspeeds (> 200 KB/s), I start to notice that the mouse pointer skip every now and then. My router is also 2ft away from my laptop, that may also increase the incidence.

Yeah, I have this problem, my router is close to my laptop and every 1 or 2 minutes the mouse freezes because of the signal, its very annoying sometimes, but, at least its a good mouse, I love it, if you take it out the signal interaction it will work just fine.
