Will at backpack build "For" 15.4" laptops be able to fit a 16.4" from sony ?

where my question comes from is whats the lesser of 2 evils? the tight fitting (if it fits at all) 15.4" bag or the loose fitting 17" bag ?

    OR!!!

Are there bags made for 16.4" ?

Thanks everyone :D sorry if it was a dumb question, tried looking through threads but didnt find anything on them

You should get a bag made for a 17" into backpack. A little wiggle room is much better than having the laptop pressed up against the sides of the bag where it will have no padding.

Targus has some good choices, so does Swiss Gear

always liked swiss gear products, just seem well made to me :D

Should i be putting some attitional padding in the sleeve so as to reduce some of the wiggle ?

My C90S fits in my 15" bag barly nice and tight but in a good way. For yours tho I think you will need a 17" depending on how the bag is made it wont hurt it to move around some. If your worried tho you can get some kind of sleeve for it as an extra protection.

ohhh thats a really good idea... get a sleeve / shell type of thing and than put THAT into my bag :D

never thought of that... should fill it up quite nicely and add extra protection :D

Anyone have any reccomendations on a nice bag (swiss gear etc) and a shell / etc i can put in to help fill the space a bit more snug ?
