    will the 700m work with a tv tuner

    I know that the graphics card in integrated but will it be good enough to watch tv and record tv to burn on to dvd?

    Yes, as long as you aren't doing 3D apps, you will be fine with integrated graphics.

    In fact, some TV cards are writing in the specifications that they require full DirectX 9 support which, afaik, Intel 855GM chipset does not offer.

    However, I am using without problems such a PCMCIA card with my lappy which is very similar to 700m, though I haven't tried yet all the options offered by the card.

    Yea as Chazman said, as long as no really intensive 3d apps or games or anthing, it should be good to go. :)
