    windows "N" in USA?

    is this humanly feasible, and if so, how? (I have a hatred of IE and WMP and all the other MS addons)

    Assuming no issues with activation just need to import it from an oversea's retailer.

    I use a us version of windows and have never had to use windows media player directly for anything. In fact looking through backups of home video today the setup dialog that only shows the first time you run it came up after 2 months of ownership. Only came open because at this moment i dont have my usual player installed.

    One might argue the IE vulnerabilities that exist even if you use firefox would be avoided but most of those should still exist without ie itself being in the os as the parts of the OS that rely on its libraries still do in N editions.

    Just don't use them. Don't rely on the government to babysit you. This is in the wrong forum too.
