I inherited my daughter old Toshiba with 2 USB on the *back* and one on the side.

I'd like to keep a flash drive plugged into the side USB for backups.

That means the mouse receiver would have to go in one of the back USB slots.

Will the signal (bluetooth or rf) bend or reflect from the mouse on the right side of the computer to the receiver on the back of the computer?

    Thx

All of those devices operate on different carrier frequencies. They will not interfere with each other.

If it is a decent mouse, it will work fine. I've used wireless mice on a desktop with a solid wood desk in-between the mouse and the receiver, it shouldn't really effect the signal to have it on the back of the laptop.
