I am using the Microsoft bluetooth intelli mouse and it is working great, however, when i am away from it, I use the touchpad. The touchpad scroll is now not working and I can't configure it to work since the mouse properties are all for the bluetooth mouse...any tips on how to make my touchpad work again the way it did before?

find what your touchpad driver is and try re-downloading it from the manufacture of your notebook, or the vendor of the touchpad (if indipendant)

uninstall all drivers for any pointing device, then install ONLY the touch pad drivers. then re-pair your BT mouse, windows already has the drivers for any mouse so you dont need to install those.

I also noticed the MSFT mouse takes over the mouse profile in control panel, but it doesn't bother me. Damn them for being so invasive...

I just got a New HP Pavillion zv5000 and I use a Fellows USB 5 button mouse with mine. All I did was plug it in and the machine works fine with both the mouse and the touch pad.

I cannot seem to get more than 10 feet out of mine. Not sure if I might have some interference or something. I didn't really try much since I use it no more than 5 feet away.

I got a logitech mediaplay also. At first I was like what lazy bastard would buy such a mouse just to switch songs volume and so forth. Well after I saw that it cost like $30 and other wireless mouses cost the same I was like cool.

So far I actually love the thing. Not that I use it as a remote just yet but I can't wait till I hook it up to a sound system/tv... Later I might have to get a wireless keyboard also.

Wondering have you found your logitech mediaplay mouse works at a distance greater then the listed 10 feet I believe. I've actually had mine work through walls up to 25 feet or so. It gets pretty jittery but the buttons actually change the song and volume still.

    I was quite impressed.

I use NiMH 2100 mAh batteries. They've actually lasted quite long and haven't died as fast as my other idle NiMH batteries.

Not sure if the mouse is pulling power from the USB mostly or something.

I'm in a house where most of the wirless phones I have are on the older technology/lesser frequencies and of course my wireless card. Other then that not much else is going to be causing me interference.
