    wireless mouse wont work anymore

    i used to be able to use my wireless mouse without my blue tooth usb receiver. but then i reformatted and now i can.. can anyone help me figure out what im missing or doing wrong.

    i have the Logitech MX 1000 Laser by the way

    I don't think the MX1000 is bluetooth, it's going to require you use the RF dongle.

    umm.. i think i does run on blue tooth but ok? whats a RF dongle?

    Did a little more googling, and it seems that there are two different MX1000's, one using radio frequency (RF) and another using bluetooth.

    If you're saying that it used to work without the bluetooth dongle, then it means that your laptop has built in bluetooth. After you reformat, you need to install the drivers for the bluetooth card.
