Good. Now I can get rid of the cheap off-brand 360 controller I've been using for the last few years. I'm hoping for some third-party to cobble together a hacked driver for Mac OS as well.

Just picked one up. Wonder if the rumble triggers will work with new games like Watch Dogs?
-
i wonder if it can do wireless without the need for additional accessories?
-
What does this do that my current Xbox 360 controller doesn't? Trying to figure out if this upgrade is worthwhile.
-
i have a wired 360 controller and the cable is long enough to become cumbersome so a shorter cable is good. the xb1 thumbsticks feel less stiff as in less resistence when moving the sticks.
EDIT: just tweeted to the @xboxsupport crew and it only works with USB at this moment but i did go to the forums and make a request to have wireless without a dongle work. -
Word of warning: Keeping the X1 controller plugged in and launching Black Ops 2 will distort PC audio and lag your menus. In a match it's fine, and in all other tested games it's fine, but Black Ops 2 seems to be problematic for some reason. I only discovered it by accident.

The 360 controller feels more comfortable than the XB1 pad in my hands so I'm gonna stick with the tried-and-true. Thumb sticks are too long on the XB1 but it doesn't have a terribad D-pad. PS4 DualShock 4 feels the best but it's not supported well enough in games to be a viable option for me.

urgh! might need to hold out till i get some tatts done
-
I have three Xbox 360 controllers, so unless the Xbox One's controller was created by Jeebus himself I don't need one.
-
no one saying you have to!
-
I know, I'm just making the point that most people have 360 controllers, or they can pick them up for less that their Xbox One counterparts.
That said I haven't actually used a Xbox One controller. Is it any improvement over that of the 360? -
Not really IMO. The D-pad isn't terribad anymore but the thumb sticks are longer (stick out more) and the ergonomics are poorer. Also the triggers vibrate.

Razer onza. Perfect.

the dpad on the 360 controller is solely what strayed me away from buying it for my pc, i've since been using a ps3 controller for certain games that need a controller. but if the dpad is better on the xbox one, i may i have to try it out

my razer onza just broke, should i buy xbox one controller just for using it on my pc or buy the razer sabertooth??
also, my onza broke because of the wires being tangled most of the time until the controller is no longer being detected by my pc..
maybe i should just buy xbox 360 wireless controller?? its cheaper and i only need a wireless receiver right? i can charge the wireless 360 controller if i plug it in my pc?\
EDIT:
just realized that i could be spending as much on the 360 controller(since i need the plug&charge, and wireless receiver)
as i would be on buying the razer sabertooth, maybe the xbox one controller is a better choice? help me guys -
Get the xbox one controller. I got one its great and if the wire breaks just get a new USB cable. Problem solved! ;-)
-
do i still need to buy the charge and play kit for xbox one controller? because if i would, the price would just be the same as getting a razer sabertooth??
-
No any micro USB cable works and it doesn't need batteries in to run.
-
would love to get a hold of one again cos it has a good feel to it for me....once i get my 3rd and 4th tatts done
-
You gonna post pics or what?
-
LOL I have the session booked in for this Saturday but once it's done and after it has been cleaned up I should be able to take some pics.
