What you're looking for is a tuner card of some sort. Did you try searching the forums or on Google before you posted? I found that link in 30 seconds or so of searching.

You need a TV Tuner, but it will be laggy. Its not recommended.

So far, the only laptop I've seen that can do this is the Lenovo Ideapad Y730. Its VGA port is 2-way, with a switch between video-in and video-out.

I do not think it is possible on any other laptop (maybe possible with some sort of card?).

A little confused to what you are asking...

All ports on a laptop are Out, To get the 360 to use the Laptop screen, you need an In on the Laptop. The only way, is through a TV Tuner. Either already in the laptop (Specially Ordered or CTO'ed), or USB, or Expresscard.

Cheapest solution: Adaptec Game Bridge - http://www.google.com/products?hl=e... game bridge&aqi=g2&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wf

I got mine on ebay for like $10

It works perfectly, there is no lag at all, and you can record your games as a bonus (the main reason I got it)

    Drawback -- Its SD only.

If you need HD the best solution I can think of is a HAVA its the only device I know of that streams any input in HD and even records in HD too.

Bonus's it streams to any computer on your network and even over the internet :p

Its a toy I plan to get for sure at some point, very nice but your looking at about $100 for the cheap one.

    Low Resolution like 600x480

the 360 can do HD, so with that adapter you cant enjoy HD.

I cant say I know of any usb device that does HD.

The HAVA is pure awesome, I am going to get one at some point as its a great way to do many things. It takes any input and can send it in HD to any computer on your network. Its what they call a "placeshift" device it lets you take a signal from one place and view it in another.

It has an IR blaster so what you can do is watch your cable/versatility TV in one room and control it via software. You can even do this from over the internet. So on vacation half way across the world and you can still watch your TV :p

I found this solution to be much more reliable and compatible than a TV card.

Here is a game capture I did and edited for a review. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBkQzJRvQ2E
I rushed this together and it was my first attempt at something like this so I know its horrible :p

Just mute your sound and look at the video. You can see it does not look that bad even AFTER youtube had killed its quality.

Its also very small, so I just leave it in my laptop bag at all times. It allows me to use my laptop as a input device if the need comes up.

I would NOT recommend this as your permanent screen, its not a high enough quality to really replace a TV, and you would have to have your computer on. But its a great way to record games or have a screen to use on the go.

Or if somebody is using the TV and you cant get it back this is a good compromise.
