    z 5500 problem

    So i just got my z 5500s in the mail today and am now testing them out. I hooked it into my xbox 360 and noticed everything was wokring correctly however the bass was nowhere near rattling even with adjustment. But the problem is i am trying to hook up to my hp laptop which has an spdif output via one of the headphone jacks so i went 3.5 to toslink adapter and plugged in a toslink cord and the control pod reads no digital data everytime. I went into the hardware settings and made the digital ouput of the realtek sound card the default and still no luck. any ideas
