thank you very much!
-
Thank you!
Zurdo, have you tried it? -
yes, i've tried, with some videos, like transformers 2 trailer, it performs better (100% smooth now), but with dark knight trailer, it isnt 100% smooth (specially at the first minute of the trailer)
Sorry for my english -
-
Thanks for the flash
-
I have a gateway ec1803 (acer as1410) with u3500 and 2gb 6400 800mhz
Thanks -
Bumping this thread because it provides very important info:
Flash 10.1 Beta 2 does not support Intel's 4500MHD. For instance, playing a 720P on my laptop takes ~70% CPU usage in Firefox with Flash Plugin 10.1 Beta 2. It is the exact same in Internet Explorer with Flash ActiveX 10.0.
But when switching to Flash 10.1 Beta 1, 720P video drops to 40%.
The weird thing is, 1080P video is at 40% usage but still only has ~20FPS, just going to attribute this to beta being beta. -
What about the "stable" version which is out now for some time? I still can't get a 1080p YT-Video to play smoothly and still don't know why... did you also notice that it's worse when you hit "fullscreen" than in window-Mode?
-
-
yes, I did, but before I installed flash. do you think that's a problem?
Do you have smooth 1080p playback, so is it possible (somehow)? -
What 1080p clip are you using?
-
it doesn't really matter, I don't get one clip smooth
for further information, I got the SU4100 Version with 2GB RAM -
-
Pleas specify which clip runs smoothly, because on my SU4100 not every 1080p clip plays 100% smoothly at full screen.
If we are talking about the same clip then we can compare CPU utilization to see if GPU acceleration is really working. -
@ thundernet: do you use windows 32bit or 64bit?
@Phil: the strange thing is, my cpu utilization isn't high and it's not fluent nevertheless. Also there's a difference between full screen 720p vs window 720p, it's a little smoother in window mode
Let's take this Video as reference, as you can see very clearly if it's smooth or not by watching the flags.
Btw: My graphics drivers are even newer: 2141. -
I use win7 32 bit and I know there are newer Intel drivers but since I am happy with1986 why change them.
-
obviously the only important difference is 32bit vs 64 bit ...
so this video I posted (with the waving flags) is completely smooth at 1080p and your laptop?
@Phil: what about your laptop, do you have 64bit as well? -
HP DM3 SU4100 with 4GB and Win 7 64. The flags don't look completely smooth full screen.
CPU load hits 96%. -
hmmm so maybe the 64bit version of windows7 could be the reason? I don't see any other.
but: why is your cpu load so high? You have a 4500MHD as well don't u? -
I don't know why. Yes it's 4500mhd.
I'm just glad I rarely watch Youtube 1080p. -
I did another clean install. Things look much better now.
The flags look fairly smooth, CPU load stays around 50%. -
Also with this configuration (SU4100 + 2Gb + Intel 4500MHD) running Seven H. Premium i can run fullhd videos, but of course using a DVXA compatible player (I´m using Media Player Classic Home Cinema).
-
I installed a 32bit version and the same with me: with the newest drivers installed, the flags look pretty smooth. When the camera turns, you can see that it's just around 10-12 fps but well.. better than nothing
Still hope for adobe to improve HD-playback with flash.
I'll install the 64bit version now to see if it's the clean installation or the 32bit version which improves playback -
Windows 7 x64 with the latest Intel.com Series 4 driver.
-
Ok, I've now installed the 64bit version of Win7 and now it works quite well. 720p on youtube is no problem at all and I found a very important option for even quite fluent 1080p-videos:
DEactivate (!) hardware acceleration in flash! It's much smoother and also on a different platform (fuzzyyellowballs.com, no !) it improved 720p from choppy to fluent!
1810TZ and YouTube 1080p
