One. There is no room for another becuase that space is taken up by the optical drive.

I'm pretty sure the 430M model that Hendrisckon bought had BT 2.1. the manual lists 2.1 as the standard in the original models. We'll have to ask him.

I think the 48 and 58 have one fan only because of the presence of an ODD. I wish you could get the 4820 without ODD and 2 fans. I saw a video where one of them shuts off by itself during the ffxiv benchmark lol.

STATUS HAS FINALLY CHANGED!!!

    Date 23.06.2010 08:12:06

Brief Status Shipment is under way

Status The shipment is on its way to the inward parcel centre

Whatever the hell that means.

    I won't bich ... progress is progress.

    Bronsky :D

@Nsxrrmaniac that shutdown and throttling may be as much related to the CPU as the cooling system. See this - http://forum.notebookreview.com/6441401-post162.html The I3-350 throttled at 86C while the I7-620M shows no signs of throttling at 89C.

some questions about the temperature(3820TG:Core i5-430 and ATI5650, both non Oc'ed):
with 100%load on all cores (that means Prime95 with 4 workers and ATI comustor to stress the gpu) i reached 89°C on one of the Intel Cores and 66°C on the ATI after 15 minutes of stress test.

Room temperature ist about 24°C. I think the temps especially the CPU is a little bit to high.
I would like to hear your opinion.

Sorry I pointed to the wrong page. THe right one is this
which should exactly be your model, although, for some weird reason, it has a different part number: LX.PV102.243

I wonder how two laptop in the same country, with the same specs, at the same price can have different part numbers. Maybe the LCD? Maybe the MOBO? Mah.. maybe I should get it from the other vendor and compare it with yours! I really don't know which one of the too I should order.

By the way, how do you know yours has bluetooth 3.0?

Glad to see your shipment is improving!

Overall look is superb in my opinion, very proffesional looking lappie, nice weight and generally muuuch better looking that lg p310. Ill be doing a mini gaming review with oc and Vids as i ve been checking steam for some awesome summer deals and got l4d2, gta 4, gta eflc, half life deathmatch all for around 20 pounds. ok let me get back to it xD

Congratulations Bydus. Now I can officially hate you too. :D Are you in South America (Brazil?). Let us know who in Poland shipped there. A link would be nice. I'm sure there are more than a few who would like to have an alternative to the DHL/Post shipping from Computeruniverse.com. Did they use UPS.

We'll all be looking for you reviews. GTA series is a nice benchmark. Medal of Honor beta is out ... try that one if you get the time.

Medal of Honor Beta where? I just download and tried out Just Cause 2 demo, runs well. Silly game really I think.

I need a larger SSD, all these games taking up 15GB plus for the install. Call of Duty MW2, Battlefield BC2 and GTAIV = over 44GB!

I hate everyone who has 450M/520M or faster CPUs, plus I hat that I ran out of time before the 450M/520M got here...sigh...

GTA IV preformance is weird. Most of the the times it runs like butter (really minor and rare lags), sometimes - occasionally - it lags (mostly on rainy nights).

The in-game benchmark shows an avarege of 28.6 FPS on 1366x768 all HIGH, and 32.x FPS for my 1280x720 external monitor.

Well I'm in the same boat, I ran out of time and got the 430m version. But I'm going to upgrade to the i7 620m, 90% sure I will.

GTAIB runs fine, just as you say a time it lags. But it does the same on my Xbox 360 when there is a lot going on. Car chase with explosions 5 cop cars etc.

Interesting discussion here http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/495314-4820t-vs-4820tg-17.html regarding throttling observed from the I3-350M during the burn test at 86C. Since we saw no evidence of this from the I7-620M, even at 89C, it was puzzling. Don't know if we found a clue or not, but there seems to me a max temp associated with the thermal junction of the integrated GPU on the I3-350M. That max temp is 85C. Given the throttle at 86C, I am wondering if this is associated with the GPU thermal junction. Anyway, thought you geniuses would like to take a look at the discussion.

sorry bronsky i ordered one from polish website delivered to polish address as i live here for few months in a year (otherwise UK). Im not sure if they send units abroad, I can ask if anyone would want one. Yeah i know bronsky i feel like an a$$hole knowing you ve been wating for yours for ages and i got mine in 2days from wire transfer.

AspireAnt how is your i7 performing? I havent tested mine i5-450 yet in games etc but was wondering if i7 has affected your battery life at all? I might wait for i5-580 or smtng later this year. Im sure the one ive got now will be more than enough after switching from c2d p8400 ;).

btw my future upgrades will be keyboard mod, momentus xt hard drive and prob i7 at some point :p

the website is bluemobilty.pl and direct link to 3820tg is

    BLUEMOBILITY

unfortunatelly website doesnt have english language but ordering process is quite straight forward (i can help you go through it) and in the end you are getting an email with bank details for and transaction number for the payment. I will call them up tomorrow and ask if they ship overseas and how much its going to cost. Will let you know.

@mnx1024 the keyboard is standard US - it doesnt have any specific polish signs on it, the sticker thats on it says the specs is also english so its all good if you ask me. The models that display in the link i provided u have just higher ammount of ram standard is 2gb for 2899zl (my sticker says 2gb) but i choose the model for 3099zl with 4gb (note: my laptop box was opened so the ram can be installed) i dont mind as it looks exacly how it should and have got to say very proffesional company).

the 4 models are identical and they have incredibly different prices. SInce you understand the language, what the hell is going on? I would also be VERY interested to know if they can ship within EU (Italy). Do you think they will understand english?

The i5 runs cooler than the i7 right? Wouldn't that stop you from upgrading? :p

Just a quick question, would this be because of the turbo boost? I just noticed it goes to high 3.3 ghz when on high perf ati mode, no overclocks on both cpu and gpu.

From what I can make out from the spec, all of their 3820TG does not have bluetooth? Seeing how all their 3820TG is a LX.PV102.184 and Hendrickson and Bronsky's are LX.PV102.161 and LX.PV102.172, can I assume that it's a newer refresh? Does anybody know the difference between the 184 and the rest beside the obvious lack of bluetooth(if I'm correct)?

Also, does bluemobility accept other types of payment besides wiretransfer, for example paypal or creditcard?
