This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Battery sloooooow charging.

    Made another battery test. Did drain the battery until the laptop would stop. Then, did plug it in the inverter. The inverter's fan was running full speed. 50 min. later, the fan did stop ( I did check the charge and it was at 69 %). 4 hrs and 10 min. 'later the battery was full..not that good.

    If you use Mozilla Firefox, it seems the only way to save your bookmarks before "resetting this PC" is to go at the bookmarks page click on "see all bookmarks" and then on "backup" in the upper left....sure would have like to have known that. Since I did re-install Windows 10, the laptop did die on me 3 times. The first time I was able to restart it right away but not the second and third time. This made the trick ->
