I really hate that beep sound but, unfortunately, none of these solutions work for me:
I have an Acer v3-571g with windows 8.1.

-I've tried to unistall realtek drivers
-I've tried to install realtek driver 2.03 and mute the pc beep slider
-I've tried to disable it in the bios but it's locked and can't find an unlocked version

The worst thing is that, in the first two scenarios, the pc doesn't beep for the first 4-5 cable plug/unplug, then it starts beeping again. It seems cursed.

I really have no idea of what to do... Anyone has another solution?

So I installed those drivers. Now what? The beeping is still occurring so there must be some sort of setting I must change. (using Win10)

I registered just to say OK, installed... but now what? Beeping still occurs on WIN10 LOL

    Hello
    I found a solution
there is a video you can follow:
if this does not work: right click the sound button -> playback devices -> disable your pc speaker (for example Realtec HD audio) -> right click in the window and click Show Disabled Devices so you can turn it back on later
    Hope it helped! ;)

    -SenneF ;)
