Anybody had luck with getting the offsets for 5742G? I'm having really a bad luck on this. I found the CPU/GPU sensors, but really no luck with the BIOS command or the fan speed.

Providing data for captures. CPU sensor is 178, while GPU is 180.

    any help appreciated.

I seem to get the same values on my 5750G. 174-175 seems a bit fishy when I run a stress test. 174 goes from 0 to 4, but sometimes 33 and 128 if I press read repeatedly. 175 goes from 0 to 255 and sometimes a few values in between.

I haven't found the BIOS offset setting for disabling BIOS control. Maybe it's 049 but I haven't found any value to switch off BIOS control.

Does anybody have a working .ini for 5750G (or knows where the offsets are)?

    Cheers!

For me it constantly goes up and down. I had to run another program called "speedfan" in order for it to actually be steady. If someone figures this out I would be really grateful!

    Acer Aspire 5750G-5755G. My finding:
    GPU temperature sensor: 180
    CPU temperature sensor: missing
    Fan profile: 175
    Fan speed: 174
Bios control: probably 171 (it's constant 8, and writing 0 here makes the fan stop but not let you to speed it up
    Bios value: missing

Anyone can help with more info for this laptop? :)

By the way the ini for this laptop which is linked here is bad. It just write a big number to the GPU temperature sensor while the bios control is active. But of course the real overwrite it. That's why the fan spins up ad down.

Would this fan control utility work on my Acer Aspire V5-122P-0600? I'm not sure which UEFI/BIOS manufacturer it uses but I will try and find out if that matters.

    Hello.

The fsn speed control offset for my acer 8930g is 153. I can manually increase the speed by inputting value 6 but even after I play a game the fan speeds down and I have to manually set it up to high speed.

How can I make the programme to write the value 6 to the offset 153 every ex. 10 minutes?

I've spent hours and hours trying to figure this out, but I simply do not find the guide comprehensive enough to actually do all this myself. So many people here have asked for a working ini for the 5742g, it would be great if that can be uploaded. Alternatively, I'd really appreciate if someone could guide me through this step by step. Would share the result of that, of course.

Hey. Could somebody help me with my old 5943g? Cant even find the temp values. newest bios, 1.15. The tool from this page: http://community.acer.com/t5/Legacy...5750G-And-similar-machines/td-p/12555/page/33 post 322 works for me, seems like the values seem to be equal the 5750 and v3 571 but still, there are no values that rise to 90C when i do the stress test with Intel Burn test.

Hi guys, this app is awesome, I have found the byte that changes the speed of the fan, but whenever I change it, it is only the value I imput for like 3 or 2 seconds, it seems that all the bytes update continuously. how do I make the fan stay at that speed? Thanks in advance

Try offset 178, 180. If that doesn't work. Try in offset 10, change it to 1.

Hi everyone! I see this is a very old thread but maybe someone will be able to help me. I have Acer Aspire E5-575G with Kaby Lake i5 and it overheats a lot when gaming. The main problem is that the default fan speed is very low even when CPU is going over 95C. ACfancontrol is able to ramp up the fan to the max but it resets to bios mode right away and the fan slowly spins down to default values. The fan speed offset is at 85 I guess because when I set it to 255 the fan switches off and values 1-7 give different but still slow speeds. Value 8 spins it up to max. It would be great if someone could help me figure out how to stop the program to resetting to bios mode so that the fan could be at max speed when I want it to be and for how long I want it to be.

    Thanks!
