Sounds similar to the other people's machines. We have different types of graphics ram (yours is low power T2L, while mine is higher clocked T2C) so don't be surprised our ram clock is so different.

I cant even overclock close to what Meaker has right now. I blame my power brick (90 watts), wish i could get a 120 watt one. Would the one you have Meaker work on my laptop? Ill look it up real quick.

Should do, does not meant the rest of the internals are built to handle it though.

800/1000 is pretty close to my max overclock at 1.05v.

    Thank you guys!
The card seems really nice, outperforms GTX260m and nearly matches the old 4870 mobility...
It seems to be the best bang for the bucks for MXM-A users...

So I am new hear and just got an Acer 7738g and installed a Q9200 (love it!). My question is did you need to change the video card bios to run the 6770m in your Acer 7738g? If so what video bios, and how to get it?

I can't discuss it here but you can email me or check the members market components section under general (next to general discussion).

    Hi

    I bought a 6770m for my acer 7738g wich has a 4570m from:

AMD Radeon HD 6770M HD6770 DDR5 1GB MXM III A Graphic Video Card for Acer 5735G | eBay

I installed and hear 3 beeps meaning that maybe i need the bios for it, i have read how to modify the bios but it seems a little complicate to me.

So i updated my bios with this one Aspire 7738G BIOS_1.13 MOD from notebook forum and replaced the JM70113.WPH with arsen BIOS.WPH rename it and replace it.

Bios update was suceffull replace my card 4570m with the 6770m no image and no beeps.

Can anyone do a bios update for this card where i can update the bios via dos?

    Thank you
