I purchased my 5810T here in Saudi Arabia because I am currently working here, but I ordered the upgrade to be sent to my address in Manila, Philippines because the shipping charge is cheaper from Singapore to Philippines compared to the amount I have to pay if I want it to be sent here in Saudi Arabia.
I ordered the upgrade on Dec. 11th, after 7 days the status changed to "Payment Received or Fulfilled or something...., yesterday, the status changed to "Ready to Ship" and today exactly 10 days later, I received a shipping confirmation email from Mentormedia indicating the courier company, tracking number and other related order details. Oh, not to forget the note on the bottom part of the email which states "Please note that your order would be delivered to the provided delivery address within 9-15 days from today", hopefully it would be true, but basing on my experience, I can say that this is a pretty good time frame on how they processed my order considering the number of volumes of upgrade kits Mentormedia has to deal with everyday since they are not only providing this service for Acer alone but for other brands as well, plus the additional hectic delivery schedules being faced by several courier companies to fulfill their fast deliveries due to the christmas and holidays season.
Unfortunately for me, I have to wait until April 2010 for my return to Manila before I can actually use this upgrade kit on my 5810T.
