    Yes, it does improve strengh and makes faster the drive disk.... :)

    Intel's driver versions:
    Intel Wifi-Link 1000BGN and 5100/5300AGN + Newest cards: v14.0.0.113 for x64bits (drivers only) & v14.0.0.105 Are not available anymore on Station Drivers. They were working fine.

    Now, it's version v14.0.2.2 & v14.0.1.2 for Windows 7 x32 & x64 Bits...approx 50Mb & 200Mb

    Just installed Windows 8 on my Acer Aspire 4810TG with switchable ATI Mob.Rad HD 4300/Intel GMA 4500M. After installation windows choose to use only Intel card. To get my switchable graphics to work I did following:

    rolled back driver to generic VGA card

    Installed latest available Acer ATI driver package (VGA_ATI_8.653.2_W7x86W7x64_A) from 2010:

    After installation everything worked as on Win 7

    Next step was to upgrade to the latest AMD (amd_catalyst_12.6_legacy_win8)

    During installation screen went black , waited for 10-15 min, turned laptop off with Power switch and after restart I have latest AMD driver for my ATI 4300 with old ATI driver for Intel card. Switchable function works fine

    i have the Aspire 4810T Genuine Intel(R) CPU U2700 1.30ghz 1.30ghz on 64-bit operating system, ever since i upgraded from vista ive had numerous problems and i need major help & guidance! if anyone please help me!?
