    Boas pessoal lusitano, buenas compañeros!
    Hello guys,

first of all, sorry about my english, it's not very good. [ :p]
Well, I have my 4002 now for 4 days. I can't say much because this is my first laptop. But after some research...for the price it is, I had no doubts that this was the right option for me.
But like it was said in the first post by rjtd, this is a personal option, it depends on yous necessities, your money, etc, etc.

About the laptop itself, and remembering that I'm a virgin user in laptops matter, I can say

TOUCHPAD - no problems at all, I'm using in 95% of the time the touchpad and it is good. This is my first time getting in use with a thing like this, and no problems so far. Ohh, so times it anoy me coze it "cliks" just by a little touch on it, but I think that's a generic laptop problem or just a lamer problem, am I wrong?

SOUND - Not a PC of course, but as said...it's ok for some musics or videos, not a problem for me.

HEATING - Yes, it gets hot a little in the places mentioned, but I can´t compare to say it is a lot or not.

FRONTAL JACKS,IRDA AND USB - I do not use Irda, that's like a floopy, some more days or so...bye. I buyed a BT adaptor. Those frontal jacks and usb...didn't use those until now.

SCREEN - Poor vertical angle that's true, and a kind of slow response (I see this when I move some window and see the letters inside of it leaving some tracks). But hey...when u're using it, u completly forget this thing. About the vertical angle...just move your head a little away from the screen...now it's ok.

    KEYBOARD - writing this post, I didn't miss a shot! [ :D]

P.S.: É a vantagem de termos nascido em Portugal, somos forçados a aprender ingles, mas depois apanhamos tudo o k se fala por aí.

    hello all
i bought my 4000wlmi arround one month ago.i think me i have problem with my battery.from what i know,it's supossed to hold for arround 5 hours.but mine it hardly holds for 3 hours and a half, and using only word typewritting, while i had put the epowermanagement at the maximum battery life.i asked at the shop from where i bought it,but they told me that it holds enough.but i really don't think it's ok..does anybody else has a similar problem?i'm thinking to ask to change it..

    ugh!

I'm bout to buy a notebook but I do not know exactly which one to buy.
What are the differences between the 4002 Wlmi and the 4500?

The price may circle to 1500€.

    Thanks!

I live in europe so they both have a Radeon 9700, I have a cardreader...

So I'm considering of buying the 4002. First I'm gone check the price on the other one you've mentioned.

    grts Koen

Edit: I've done some research, hard to find one you've mentioned. the price for the 4002 WLMI is mainly 'bout 1300€ (Belgium)
