I've had an Aspire 5672 for almost 2 years and I love it. The only down side is the heating issue. Up until now I' didn't have any issues with it... my battery is a bit low usage wise but that's expected because of the heat. Haven't done anything significant to it besides adding Arctic Silver to the CPU, GPU and chipset. Anyway a friend of mine got a Dell 1520 which has almost the same hardware, (his video card is a bit better and the screen is higher rez), for some reason he's really regretting his purchase. And he's actually jealous of my lappy, but then again... I'm jealous of his 1650x1050 screen :). I've always wanted to swap the LCD panel with that of a TM8200(?) which is almost the same as the 5672, but it has a nicer screen, no gloss but w/e.
Anyway recently 2-3 months ago I got another Acer for my mom, a TM3680. So far she really likes it and it's great for her usage. I'm surprised at how good that laptop is in general since I got it for $500CAD.

Long post :p, anyway I'm still looking for info on the screen swap for 5670, if anyone has any info please let me know.

I just bought an Extensa 4620Z and I really like it, but I do feel cheated that it doesn't have Bluetooth, as it has a big BT switch on the face. Oh well. Other than that, it was a very good deal at Best Buy for $550.

Lol... that's what most 5920G owners felt when they got the bluetoothless model with a dummy bluetooth button.

That reminds me of another issue. :p The sound card on my 5672 is terribly underpowered.
