This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    :eek: I have no idea what that means but I would guess the answer would be no. It is only 3 weeks out of the shop and I have no real understanding notebooks. I'm a civilian, not a techie.

    battery alarm set at warn on 3% just surfing net 2hrs 17mins :D
    aspire 7112.

    which is quiet good(amazing) :D

    but i did switch all unused processes off :D

    How were you connected to the internet? Were you using WLAN?

    That's a lot higher than my Znote which started out at just over 2 hours. I didn't take care of my battery so it's now 1 and a half. Still not too bad though I guess for most people.

    finally found you a good deal on "fixer uper",,, but i here it's really cheap and the battery lasts for months
