I'm really eager to know what people paid, to ensure I'm getting the best possible deal. So what did you pay?![]()

800 quid after TCB
-
im from the U.S used the aafes deal to buy my laptop config.
config price was 24xx bought it for 1880 then got 100 cash back on my credit card. so in the end 1780 usd for my config -
That's about the price for a base config M14x in the UK -
TCB= topcashback. Similar to quidco. I believe most online shoppers should be quite familiar with them to take advantage of online deals.
I applied a £300 voucher just valid for 12 hours on easter day.
If you asked me on Royal wedding day I have another one unopened @ £1k with a few upgrades and 16% discount. Too bad it has been returned already. -
I paid the list price on the base model. I should have tried to negotiate I guess but I needed it really quickly.
-
That £300 off voucher was a godsend, we really got lucky with that one! -
Damn completely missed that voucher! Probably be another year before we get a decent alienware voucher
There seem to be vouchers flying around all the time for the dell range, what a pity you cant use those. -
-
cheers mate, I will try it. I did try it a couple of years ago and had no luck
-
Wow grey I'll try it.
And yeah ninja, US have loads of voucher codes and alienware is cheaper to begin with there.. it's so unfair D:
And £300 voucher D:, fu xD -
Holy It Worked Ily
-
some vouchers may require you to log in as EPP status, give it a go if you are eligible
-
The xps, inspiron, or somet else voucher worked 10% off. I suppose I can't get EPP on top of that? If I use quidco i get an extra 10%, so 991 - 99 + 5=less than £900 :O Im happy
-
Quidco/TCB only 10% pay ex-VAT for Dell transactions, so ideally you will get around £75 back.
Using TCB instead you can get extra 5% if redeemed into amazon voucher, so you can invest in ram or hdd upgrade in future -
Tempting, but I'd like to give the cash to my parents, who are buying me the machine lol
Ex VAT without delivery charge is £800, so I'll get £80 back, but I'm happy to pay £900ish pound, considering I thought the best I would do was £990
Also, question about quidco (using this because I have an account there), if I clicked the link to the dell site ages ago(via quidco), and have browsed it in the mean time, then put my m14x in the basket, then bought it at say 6pm, the 10% cashback won't disappear or anything? Will it? -
WHAT VOUCHER DID YOU USE!? -
ZZQT7WMM8P103N
try that -
Quidco is never guaranteed, even if you did everything correctly they may still mess up or grab your money. For large amount that does matters it is always good idea to clear cookies and check out asap to minimize the chance of error.
If it is not tracked til mid May you can open a ticket.
Too bad the one I returned was basic spec + 900p screen, upgraded wifi and bluetooth. You could have it between royal wedding and may bank holiday for £990! -
So shall I use your cashback site? -
nah, quidco is fine you can stick to it if you like.
But if you do wish to switch to tcb they have no charge at all. personally I am using both, sometimes they pay different rates on same product.
Still, cashback is never guaranteed anywhere. You shouldnt rely on it, but 90% of my transactions are claimed without any effort. -
I'm gonna use yours
Ordering my laptop now -
-
Put the m14x into the basket, then there will be an 'apply coupon' box, just copy and paste it there.
-
Anyone asked if they'll be running another £300 voucher again? Theres no way in hell I'm gonna be paying full retail if they can afford to offer discounts like that

did you use the dell epp with TCB?..does it work? cause that would be a major bargain!
