    Hi guys, I was considering buying a 3d monitor for my m14x, but I didn't know what the gaming performance would be like. Does 1080p 3d have any significant effect on performance on an Nvidia gt555m 1.5gig?

    well 3d cuts your fps in half so depending on the games your playing your going to have to drop some settings down to get a good framerate. 1080p will also drop your framerate, though Not as much as the 3d will. I wouldn't do it with the 555m as I don't think it really has the power to run that very well. :(
