    Hey All,

With everyone going on about using the 270.61 drivers I thought I'd give it go but I've seen an obvious decrease in performance.

I'm playing Mount & blade warband which ran flawlesslessly on max with the default dell drivers, since I've applied the 270.61 drivers its stuttering like btch.

Has anyone else noticed adverse effects and how do I get back to the older drivers?

    Thanks people!

I tried running these drivers with BF:BC2 and the screen wouldn't stop flickering (black). So I went back to the drivers included on the resource DVD. (267.whatever)

I also saw a noticeable decrease in performance when running benchmarks and some games. For now i'm sticking with the dell drivers.

Search for "Beta and archived drivers", and download whatever version you want.

Download the older driver from the dell.com website. Uninstall your drivers (via control panel), and restart. After restart, install your original driver that you downloaded.

One more restart and you should be back to the original.

The correct drivers also come on the Resource DVD that came with the laptop.

Perfect.. worked a treat. I downloaded the latest video drivers from DELL for the m14x and at it freaked out saying I'm trying to run a 32-bit exe for 64-bit window... FAIL ..

Went back to the drivers on the resouce CD and my games running nice again.

If it aint broke don't fix it :D
