    Guys Can ne1 tell me whether we can use Intel 3rd or 4th generation processor with the Alienware M14x R1.
    i have the 2630QM, thinkin of upgrading the processor. now 2nd generation processor not available in India easily and if i cn get the updated generation it wl b bettr,

    Just to provide an official word on this, it cannot be done. You will need to acquire the new line of Alienware to get that processor.

    Can you swap the M14xR1 motherboard with an M14xR2 motherboard? If so, that might be less expensive than buying a new system.
